Should I bother with the playing in the CHL?

I didnt try out for them but the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs want me to play on their CHL team because their spots on the higher level leagues are full. Is this worth it? I will be moving up but to begin with should i try it? I am a sophomore in highschool.
