What is revisionist about Santorum's statement? I still say the others are instances of misspeaking, yes, even Obama's "57 states" comment. It happens. Try having every last word you utter being recorded and played back on loop across every major media outlet and see if someone, at some point, doesn't catch you saying something stupid.
